Several years ago we left a successful business and a beautiful home 10 minutes from downtown Seattle and headed for the country. We moved to a town of 330 residents in southeastern Washington where we found a turn of the century house and an array of outbuildings on 8 acres. As we searched for a special animal or crop we could raise at our new home, we discovered alpacas.

Our combined skills have helped us become discriminating breeders. Dale has many years of experience with horses, a degree in architecture and a background in planning, design and construction. Leslee has degrees in art, photography and textile design and worked in building design. Our orientation to the visual environment has given us the ability to assess the quality of an alpaca's conformation and fleece.

Come and visit our alpaca ranch and guest home. Enjoy the rolling hills of the Palouse where you can find some of the richest farm land in the U.S. Stay in our guest house with its cozy wood stove for winter visits and breezy hammock for a summer respite. Swim in our indoor lap pool year around. Meet our alpacas and touch the luxurious fleece once used to clothe Inca royalty. We enjoy tending our alpacas and look forward to sharing information with you about these tranquil, intelligent animals.
