Second Wind Alpacas is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in California, where the movie “Sideways” was filmed. We are conveniently located ˝ hour out of Santa Barbara in the quaint Danish village of Solvang.

Second Wind prides itself on the show quality alpacas we produce including true black, grey, rose-grey, and vicuna-coloured alpacas with an emphasis on fiber. Our goal is to breed conformationally correct, fine-fleeced alpacas in a wide spectrum of colors. We only breed our females to top-quality herdsires to ensure the best possible improved offspring for the next generation.
