Where can you enjoy an ice cream while sitting on a porch that overlooks a beautiful creek and watch alpacas lounging in a pool? Long Branch Alpacas & General Store can offer just that and more. Located just south of Hohenwald off highway 48, the general store has the only Jack Daniel’s barrel Ice Cream & Shaved Ice Bar in Tennessee. With 4 flavors of ice cream and 57 flavors of shaved ice everyone should be able to find their favorites. Friday and Saturdays come set up at the Flea Market. Bring your table and chair and sell your treasures. Every Sunday join us for an old fashion Ice Cream Social with 10% of the proceeds to benefit a different church and non-profit organization in Lewis County. Our store also has genuine alpaca products including yarn, stuffed animals, scarves, sweaters, blankets, and novelties. Aerating Windmills, Antiques, Amsoil and Watkins products are also available. The back porch is the perfect place for your organization’s meetings. Step back in time and experience the old time General Store with some modern day conveniences. Special events throughout the year will be planned such as the First Annual Rockhouse Creek Duck Race to benefit the local 4-H.
